Are you in your 20\/30s? Open-minded, collaborative and driven to solve societal challenges? From any gender, cultural background, nationality or study program (from physics, engineering, medicine to design & arts and social sciences (e.g. economics, anthropology, psychology etc.)? Then you are the one #AttractYoung is looking for!<\/span><\/p>\n

To share your point of view on the societal challenges that need to be addressed \u2013 or better \u2013 solved, by 2025, we organize #AttractYoung hackathon to find solutions to the challenges of the future with the use of detectors and imaging technologies (in their broadest sense). The best applicants will be divided into international interdisciplinary teams that will get support <\/span>by carefully selected coaches and the group of detector experts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for submitting your idea is March 15th<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Up to 10 #AttractYoung participants selected by the Evaluation Panel will be awarded a 5-day visit to\u00a0CERN<\/a>\u00a0(European Organization for Nuclear Research) \/\u00a0ESRF<\/a>\u00a0(European Synchrotron Radiation Facility) to further brainstorm on their ideas. All expenses will be paid.<\/span><\/p>\n

#AttractYoung organisers:\u00a0Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste<\/a>\u00a0– Italian CERIC Representing Entity,\u00a0AREA Science Park<\/a>,\u00a0INFN Trieste<\/a>\u00a0– National Institute of Nuclear Physics, in collaboration with the\u00a0ATTRACT initiative<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0Some of Europe\u2019s scientific leaders \u2013 including CERN, the European Southern Observatory, the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, the European X-ray free-electron laser, the Institut Laue-Langevin, the European Industrial Research Management Association \u2013 are joining forces together with other organizations to create new products, companies and jobs.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
